Shops were boarded up and the National Guard deployed ahead of expected unrest in Kenosha on Tuesday.

It happened after the Kenosha County District Attorney Michael Graveley announced that the police officer involved in the shooting of Jacob Blake would not be charged.

White police officer Rusten Sheskey was filmed shooting 29-year-old Black man Jacob Blake several times in the back in August. Blake survived but was paralysed from the waist down.

His relatives and supporters earlier called for peaceful protests if the officer was not indicted.
