Londoners commented on British Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s call for a snap election to be held on December 12 on Thursday.

"I feel like, whoever is going to be Prime Minister on the 12th of December, or elected, the people should have the final say on the negotiations and all the details because at the end of the day it's the people who are going to reap what he sowed," said one Londoner.

Another added he will vote for Labour "because nothing can be worse than what we have gone through these last eight or nine years… everything is broken, so let's try something else."

The motion to hold an early election will be put before Parliament on Monday. For the motion to succeed, it would need to receive the approval from two-thirds of the House of Commons. Corbyn said no final decision will be made by his party before the European Union agrees to a Brexit delay.
