Bolivian President Evo Morales was met by thousands of his supporters in Cochabamba on Thursday as he celebrated his victory in the national elections.
"This morning we woke up and the press says that we have won by over 10 percent. The difference, they inform us, is about 120 thousand votes, and those 120 thousand are from the countryside," Morales said.
The Bolivian President's party Movimiento al Socialismo (MAS) obtained 46.8% of the votes, against 36.7% for Comunidad Ciudadana in Sunday's presidential election.
