Dozens of families made the pre-Christmas trek to the Plaza de las Constelaciones in Mostoles, Madrid, to see the first life-size Playmobil nativity scene in Spain.

"I think the Nativity Scene is incredible, how big it is and above all the way it has been set up. I think it's spectacular," said Luis, a visitor at the exhibit.

Footage filmed on Friday shows the large nativity scene and families taking photos with the display. There are also claw machines and displays of other figures from the Playmobil collection.

"I think it's a very good initiative for children in the neighbourhood, it's very cool," said Ana, another visitor at the exhibit.

A visitor called Jose mentioned that children and adults alike could enjoy the toy company's display.

"Well, I think it's very, very interesting here in Mostoles to have all this and for all the children to come, because this whole area is full of children, so, well, those of us who aren't children too. So, that's why we've come here to enjoy a bit of Christmas and the atmosphere," he added.

The tent, which covers an area of 700 square metres, is open to the public free of charge and will be on display throughout the holiday season.
