“Government don’t do enough things to fight climate change and we as Amnesty International think that climate change is a problem of human rights too because the climate change has an impact on rights”, Sabine Gagnier, member of Amnesty International France, said.
The action, which took place the day before the presidential elections in France, was initiated by environmental, anti-racist, feminist, and anti-crisis organizations and collectives. Around 80 protests were organized all over France, involving more than 300 associations, collectives, unions, or local movements.
