The protesters exhibited numerous banners and placards denouncing the Chinese government and calling for a 'Free Hong Kong,' along with the former colonial flag and a gigantic black banner calling for the five demands to be met.
A small stage was also set up at the event, with one protester delivering a speech where they said the territory was "West Berlin in the 21st century."
Hong Kong has been rocked by protests sparked by that now-withdrawn extradition bill. The rallies have since evolved into a wider movement against the government, marked by violent clashes between protesters and police.
