The Greens–European Free Alliance's candidate for the French Presidential election Yannick Jadot cast his ballot in Paris on Sunday ahead of the first round of elections.

After casting his ballot, Jadot spoke briefly to reporters while walking in the streets of the French capital, stating that politicians prefer to ignore the threat of climate change.

The French vote in the first round of the presidential election on Sunday and have to choose from 12 candidates, including current President Emmanuel Macron, far-right candidates Marine Le Pen and Eric Zemmour, and leftist Jean-Luc Melenchon.
