Bolivian President Luis Arce spoke on Tuesday during the United Nations Conference on Climate Change of 2021 (COP26), held in Glasgow.
"For us, indigenous peoples are the main problem of climate change," said Arce, adding that indigenous people are "the most affected" and should therefore be "the main focus of our policies."
Leaders from more than 200 countries, together with representatives of other organisations such as the International Monetary Fund (IMF), are taking part in the COP26 summit to discuss how to counteract climate change, among other objectives.
