French goalkeeper Sarah Bouhaddi confessed that FIFA's new penalty rule is "something that we did not work on" during a presser at the French National Football Centre in Clairefontaine-en-Yvelines on Tuesday.

FIFA suspended the controversial new rule that stated goalkeepers must be shown yellow cards for stepping off the goal-line during penalty shootouts just before the knockout phase of the tournament leading to confusion and almost costing France their win against Brazil in Sunday's quarterfinal with Bouhaddi pointing out that "having both feet on the line when shooting is not easy."

The French goalkeeper also commented on her team's upcoming clash against the US, and said that she previously played with footballers Alex Morgan and Megan Rapinoe, and considers them one of the best in the world.

Host France will take on the US during the quarter finals of the Women's World Cup on Friday at 21:00 CEST (19:00 GMT) at the Parc des Princes stadium in Paris.
