Russian President Vladimir Putin held a meeting of the permanent members of the Security Council in Moscow, Friday, to discuss the outcomes of the recent 'Normandy Four' talks in Berlin.

Amongst the agreements made by the Russian, French, German and Ukrainian leaders at the Normandy Four meeting, was a road map for the implementation of the Minsk agreements in Ukraine and the broadening of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) mission in the south east of Ukraine. The situation in Syria and the ongoing operation in Mosul were also discussed by the leaders.

Those in attendance at the meeting included Russian Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu, Russian Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev, Russia's Federal Security Service Alexander Bortnikov and Russian Prime Minister Dmitri Medvedev.
