President of the European Commission and former Prime Minister of Luxembourg, Jean-Claude Juncker, cast his vote in Luxembourg on Sunday in the European Parliamentary elections.

Talking to the press after casting his ballot, Juncker spoke about the importance of holding elections in what he referred to as the second largest constituency in the world, but expressed concerns about the possible results.

"I guess that some marginal parties will be less marginal tonight. I don't hope it but I guess that will be the case," Juncker stated.

The European parliamentary elections take place between 23-26 May and will see around 400 million people from 28 member states elect a total of 751 Members of the European Parliament.
