Yellow Vests took to the streets of Paris on Saturday to protest against President Emmanuel Macron's policies, ahead of the second round of the French presidential elections.

The protest comes a day before French voters head to the polls for the second round of the presidential election, where incumbent President Macron meets far-right candidate Marine Le Pen in the runoff for the presidency.

Macron topped the first round of the French presidential elections with 27.6 per cent of the vote, ahead of Le Pen’s 23.4 per cent on 10 April.
