Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe proposed a toast during the official G20 summit dinner reception in Osaka on Friday.

G20 leaders including Russian President Vladimir Putin, his US counterpart Donald Trump and others were served sea bass' pate and edible flowers and herbs for a starter. As a main dish the chefs had prepared chicken balantine, risotto with shiso leaves, stuffed tofu and zucchini.

The beverage selection reportedly included local Osaka sparkling wine and red wine from Niigata prefecture, in addition of citrus juices and soda.

Leaders of 19 of the most influential countries in the world and the European Union are meeting in Osaka on Friday and Saturday for the 14th Group of 20 summit to discuss climate change, free trade, and economic inequalities among other issues.
