Protesters gathered in the MOKO mall in Hong Kong, on Sunday, to commemorate the anniversary of the Prince Edward MTR Station attack which took place on August 31, 2019.

Protesters in the mall chanted slogans such as "five demands, not one less. Dirty cops, go to hell," holding newspapers, reading: "Distort the truth", "Gory to Hong Kong", and "Heaven destroy CCP", and showing their middle fingers before police officers intervened.

"I have only one purpose for showing up today, it is the anniversary day of August 31 (police attacking people inside MTR). Today, there are so many young people who come out to support, as a Hong Kong resident, I come out to express my support and wanting truth and justice," said Mr Lau, one of the protesters.

On August 31, 2019, The Hong Kong riot police stormed into the crowded Prince Edward metro station following an anti-government rally and allegedly attacked scores of protesters.
