The Russian diplomat was greeted by French Foreign Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault at the door of the ministry. Shortly after Lavrov's entrance, German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier and his Ukrainian counterpart Pavlo Klimkin arrived at the ministry.
The ministers are set to discuss the implementation of the Minsk peace agreements and the situation in south-eastern Ukraine, with special focus on issues such as security, prisoner exchange and elections in the Donbass area.
