Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin tried to take the place of his German counterpart Frank-Walter Steinmeier in front of the EU flag during a photo op at the French Foreign Ministry in Paris, Thursday, ahead of Ukraine peace talks.

Steinmeier, Klimkin, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, his French counterpart Jean-Marc Ayrault went on to start the latest round of 'Normandy Four' format negotiations on the Ukraine peace process.

The key discussion will be on the implementation of the Minsk peace agreement and the situation in south-eastern Ukraine, with special focus on issues such as security, prisoner exchange and elections in Donbass.
