Six climate activists continued their hunger strike outside the German Bundestag, Thursday. On the 18th day of their hunger strike, the activists said that they "will continue the hunger strike until we have an actual talk with [chancellor] candidates," even after one of the protesters had been brought to the hospital.

"This guy Jakob was in the hospital but he is now determined to continue, he was unconscious for two minutes," said Henning, one of the hunger strikers.

The responses of the three main candidates Henning called 'unacceptable and disillusioning,' saying that "we were let know so far that all the three want us to start eating something again, they are worried about us, but they say they can only meet us after the elections and not speak publicly."
