G7 leaders, their spouses and guests of the summit posed for a 'family photo' after a day of talks in the resort town of Biarritz on Sunday. Footage shows French president Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte welcoming them at Hotel du Palais, the summit's venue.

France is currently holding the group's presidency and it chose to change the format by inviting leaders from outside the bloc. Paris said it wanted 'leaders of major democracies with regional influence, African partners and civil society representatives' to join the event.

The G7 summit is wrapping up on Monday with world leaders discussing a number of global issues.
