Lorries could be seen queuing at a customs checkpoint near Dover on Thursday.
Due to the recent Brexit red tape introduced in early 2022 and COVID-19 testing, lorries have been backed up coming in and going out of the country for over four days. Long queues formed on the French side as well.
Drivers have reported mass confusion over the new regulations and wait times lasting sometimes more than four hours to pass a checkpoint.
