"Political games can continue, geopolitical games can continue, but in order to deescalate we need to stop the language of hatred", she said, as she described the situation as extremely complex and praised NGOs for 'saving the face of Europe.'
Warsaw has increased the number of forces on the border to repel the migrants and have also brought in special equipment.
The migrant crisis comes amid escalating tensions between the EU and Belarus. Brussels has accused Lukashenko of orchestrating the migrant flow as part of a 'hybrid war' designed to put pressure on the bloc over sanctions. Minsk has denied the allegations.
