Thousands of people marched through La Paz to show their support of Bolivia's president, Evo Morales, on Tuesday.

Footage shows supporters marching through the streets to a stage near the new presidential residence from where the president addressed the crowds.

Morales reiterated that the opposition of “racists” is using the excuse of electoral fraud to “regain political power” and attempt coup d'etat.

Bolivia was hit by unrest over the disputed election results which gave the current president Morales, enough votes to avoid a run-off.
