Netherlands team coach Sarina Wiegman and midfielder Danielle van de Donk held a press conference in Rennes on Monday ahead of their side's clash against Japan in the Women's World Cup knockout stages.
Wiegman and van de Donk appeared confident at the presser about the Netherlands' chances of defeating Japan, although they stressed that their opponent was not to be taken likely, especially since they were defeated by the same team four years ago.
"We know the opponent, four years ago they played divinely, they are very dynamic, they have very nice skills and they are very flexible, so we have to focus on our opponent" the Coach stated.
"I think they [Japan] play like Barcelona, I think they are very good in positional play," van de Donk added.
The Netherlands are due to play against Japan in the round of 16 in Rennes on Tuesday, June 25.
