The speech was given as part of a press conference attended by several dozen journalists outside the Capitol.
"My daughter was an amazing, energetic, powerful woman and I miss her every day, and I'm here because Americans do have the right to protest, it's your right as an American citizen to protest," said rioter Ashli Babbitt's mother Micki Witthoeft.
