Larry the cat, who lives at the residence made an appearance as he strutted down the street and camped outside the front door, much to the appreciation of the press, who showered Larry in photography flashes.
The cat is between age 12 and 13 and became a resident at 10 Downing Street a year after former Prime Minister David Cameron moved in. He was originally a stray who was rescued and adopted by Battersea Dogs and Cats Home.
