Roscosmos cosmonauts Nikolay Chub, Oleg Kononenko and Konstantin Borisov have prepared a video relaying their best wishes to Russians on the occasion of the New Year's from aboard the International Space Station.

"As you know, New Year is a family holiday, but today we are celebrating it far away from our relatives. Nevertheless, we feel the support and love of our relatives even here in space, and we wish the same to each of you. May you be happy and loved," said Borisov.

For his part, Kononenko remarked that New Year's Day was 'the warmest and most heartfelt holiday of the year', which unites all generations of Russians, while Nikolai Chub called on his compatriots to 'perform good deeds, give happiness and smiles to those around us'.
