EU ministers gather in Brussels on Monday, June 22, ahead of the Foreign Affairs Council chaired by EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell.
The top diplomats are expected to exchange views on the situation in Ukraine, following a video call with Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba, as well as the latest developments in the Middle East among other topics.
Kaja Kallas, who resigned as Estonia’s Prime Minister last week, will replace Borrell in late July-early August. The outgoing diplomat has served as EU foreign policy chief since 2019.
