Pope Francis arrives in Luxembourg on Thursday, September 26, as part of his European Apostolic Journey.
During his visit, the Pope will celebrate Mass for the nation’s Catholics, who make up around 50 percent of the population.
He will also meet with religious leaders, government officials, and privately with fellow Jesuits, as the first Jesuit Pope. His journey will conclude in Brussels on September 29.
It comes nearly two weeks after he made his longest trip to date, across the Asia-Pacific.
