Italian national football team captain Giorgio Chiellini spoke to the press in London on Saturday ahead of Sunday's massive Euro 2020 final against England.

Chiellini discussed Sunday's opponents, especially those who he will be keeping a personal close eye on, England attackers Raheem Sterling and Harry Kane.

"Kane and Sterling are different players and the other strikers that England has all of them have different qualities. They are top players. It makes me laugh because only England's bench could make it to the final on their own. They have extraordinary players. We are going to try to limit their qualities where we can and but thankfully it is not an individual game it is a team play and it is not Chiellini and Bonucci can beat Kane and Sterling but it is Italy can beat England," remarked Chiellini.

England will be looking to lift the European Championships for the first time in their history, Sunday is also the first time they have disputed a final in this competition.

Italy hasn't won the European Championships since 1968 but has lifted two World Cups since then. A victory in Wembley on Sunday will bring their tally of European Championships to two.

"I said that one out of the group stage I expected to see in the final was England. Because they went to a side of the draw that once they passed Germany they would have very beatable opposition, but it is because they are a very good team. For me, they were the best team in the other side of the draw. And of course, the fact that they play at home made them avoid travelling too much," stated Chiellini.
