Venezuelan Opposition Leader Juan Guaido said he was not confident of holding a possible dialogue with Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, and called any attempt to do so "implausible" during an event in Caracas on Saturday.
Guaido insisted that "there is only one president” in Venezuela and urged his supporters to accompany him to "open the doors of the Federal Palace.”
On January 5, dissident opposition deputy Luis Parra was sworn in as the new president of the National Assembly after his rival Guaido was prevented from entering the building and joining a special session of Parliament.
Two days later the opposition leader managed to enter Parliament to swear in office for a new period.
