Supporters of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro flooded Caracas on Saturday, to show solidarity with resigned Bolivian President Evo Morales.

Footage shows demonstrators marching through the city with flags of Venezuela and Bolivia, before rallying around a stage where a slogan reading "anti-imperialist Venezuela; against fascism and in defence of La Paz" was displayed.

President of the National Constituent Assembly Diosdado Cabello addressed the crowd and said: "misters of US, we will tell you again, who govern in the United States, the chiefs of imperialism here in Venezuela, in the Bolivarian homeland, there is only one president named Nicolas Maduro Moros."

On Saturday, thousands of protesters joined Venezuelan opposition leader and self-proclaimed acting president of Venezuela Juan Guaido as they marched through the streets of Caracas, demanding the departure of President Nicolas Maduro.
