Tunisia's coach Mondher Kebaier mentioned the 'difficult conditions' following the COVID outbreak in his team.
"After the COVID outbreak, the Tunisian team took all the necessary precautions to stay healthy but now when we see all players together on a day to day basis, and there are many asymptomatic contaminations, I don't want to talk now or later about these difficult conditions," he said.
All in all, 12 Tunisian players have tested positive for COVID in recent days, and they are expected to miss the crucial match against Gambia on Thursday at 19:00 GMT (20:00 local time), for the last matchday of Group F.
Whoever wins the game will qualify directly to the Round of 16. A draw would give Tunisia the chance to qualify as one of the four best third-placed sides, but the results of other sides would need to go their way.
At the moment Gambia sits at the top of Group F with four points, while Tunisia is third with three points.
