Hundreds of protesters gathered in New York City's Times Square to protest the shooting of Jacob Blake, on Monday.

Demonstrators were marching downtown along 7th Avenue chanting and holding signs in solidarity with the protests in Kenosha, Wisconsin, where Blake was shot.

The protesters then marched down Broadway and to City Hall, then over the Brooklyn Bridge and to Park Slope precinct.

Jacob Blake, an unarmed 29-year-old black man, was shot multiple times in the back on Sunday, by an officer with the Kenosha Police Department, in Wisconsin, as his children watched from a vehicle.

Blake is reported to be in stable condition in an intensive care unit.

Footage of the police shooting emerged, sparking protests.
