Morocco's coach Vahid Halihodzic praised his team's performance following their come-from-behind win against Malawi at the African Cup of Nations in Yaounde on Tuesday.
"If you look at the first half, it was one of the best displays I witnessed at the CAN, I watch a lot of games. The first half from Morocco's point of view had such rhythm, such level, and such build-up. When dozens of goal-scoring opportunities were created, it means the guys played well," said Halihodzic.
Morocco will now play the winner of the Ivory Coast-Egypt game in the quarterfinals, while Malawi is out of the tournament, having registered their best result ever at the African Cup of Nations.
