Hong Kong Chief Executive, Carrie Lam commented on the ongoing investigation of the police handling of anti-government protests, speaking in Hong Kong on Tuesday.
"I think the best way is for the IPCC (Independent Police Complaints Council) to complete its findings and for society to examine the findings and have good discussion on the outcome of the IPCC report," said Lam.
Hong Kong has been rocked by protests sparked by the now-withdrawn extradition bill since March, with police being accused by protesters of alleged brutality while handling the protests.
