According to NSPPolls, the averages of the polls conducted before this weekend showed Le Pen polling at 23 percent trailing Macron by only 3 points, with the French President polling at 26 percent. Left-wing candidate Mélenchon is shown to be third with 17 percent.

In the second round, polls show Macron and Le Pen being neck to neck, with a poll from YouGov published on Friday, showing Macron having the slight advantage with 51% over Le Pen’s 49%.
