Body camera footage of Prude's death sparked protests when it was came to wider attention on Wednesday. The video showed police covering Prude's head with a "spit hood" and holding him on the ground before he stopped breathing. Prude was having a mental health episode on March 23 when his brother Joe called the Rochester Police Department for help. The 41-year-old died on March 30 after he was taken off life support.
