The interim president of Bolivia Jeanine Anez appointed an emergency cabinet of 12 ministers in an official ceremony at the government palace in La Paz on Wednesday.
"I thank you with all my heart that you are here with courage and patriotic spirit willing to face this hard challenge of giving back to our homeland in its democratic institutionality," said Anez after the ministers were sworn in.
On Tuesday Anez took temporary control of the Bolivian Senate where she announced herself as the interim president of Bolivia.
On Sunday, Bolivian President Evo Morales announced his resignation, following weeks of unrest in the wake of the disputed October 20 presidential election. Morales said he had received threats from opposition leaders and was eventually forced by the country's military to step down.
