Governor of Najaf, Luay al-Yassiry, said that vast organisational works had been done to make sure the Pope's visit goes in an orderly manner.
Apart from Najaf the Pope is expected to visit Baghdad, Ur, Erbil, Mosul, and Qaraqosh.
