Description

A Chinese government spokesperson said the impact of the trade disputes with the US was 'manageable' at a news conference in Beijing on Wednesday.

'The total value of exports was up by 10.3 percent, 4.3 percent higher than last month. Export performance is not bad. The impact [of the disputes] is generally manageable," said the National Bureau of Statistics spokesperson Liu Aihua.

The statement came as US president Donald Trump said he would delay imposing tariffs of above 25 percent on $300 billion of Chinese goods not to hit US consumers during the Christmas shopping season.
