Susie the pig 'predicted' the outcome of the upcoming England-Croatia Euro 2020 match with a win for the Three Lions on Thursday at her home-farm located in Newcastle-upon-Thyne.
When faced with a choice of buckets with different flag options or a draw, the clever pig chose the England bucket.
"Well, as you all know, the proof of the pudding is in the eating. She's got a hundred percent record so far but obviously it's going to be a massive test for her doing these results as the Euro championship goes on," commented Hugh Stolliday, Manager at Ouseburn Farm Charity Ltd.
According to Stolliday, the pig is believed to have psychic abilities, having accurately predicted the weather a few weeks ago.
“Susie is a large white pig, she's three and a half years old, she's very, very intelligent. She loves football, so we're full of confidence that she's going to get her prediction right," said Stolliday.
"Susie is a big local star. She's much loved by all our visitors down to the farm, visitors, placements, volunteers, everybody who comes down here has got a soft spot in their hearts for Susie, so she's a bit of a local celebrity," added Stolliday.
The 'patriotic' pig's hobbies include “eating, sleeping, rolling in the mud and kicking her football around in her yard."
England kick off their campaign against Croatia at Wembley on Sunday, the same team who knocked the Three Lions out of the World Cup in 2018.
