Description

GITEX Global 2024 showcased the latest AI innovations, cybersecurity, mobility and sustainable technology in Dubai on Tuesday.

Footage shows people flocking to the 44th edition of the exhibition. Electronic goods can also be seen on display as companies present their latest innovations.

Industry representatives were on hand to explain their latest AI developments.

"I'm happy to present our artificial intelligence that we've built to power any stationary off the shelf robots to perform pick and play scenarios in any warehouse, how to automate them, and make them future proof," said Alexei Fillipov, the head of Global Business Development at Yango Robotics.

"We have AI that generates images, AI that helps developers in their coding work, AI that even teaches sign language to specifically disabled people,” explained Regional Manager for Sber Asia, Ilya Kravtsov.

Another rapid growth area, electric transport, was also well-represented.

"EV drivers can come to our station, and without leaving the car, we can plug in the charger. So, this is a pilot in terms of technology. It's not rolled out yet in our station," said Mohamed Khamlichi, VP at ADNOC.

The GITEX Global Exhibition, one of the world’s preeminent technology exhibitions over the past four decades, is a gateway for collaboration among innovators, investors, and technology enthusiasts. This year’s event spans across two major venues: the Dubai World Trade Centre and Dubai Harbour.
