Hundreds of protesters took to the streets of Minneapolis, on Tuesday, to protest the killing of Amir Locke, a 22-year-old Black man shot by police during a no-knock raid.
The protesters were seen attending speeches by activists while carrying signs and flags writing 'Black Lives Matter' and asked for the persecution of the police officers involved in the killing.
They also carried signs with slogans against the major of Minneapolis, Jacob Frey.
Locke was shot and killed by police within seconds of entering an apartment where he was sleeping, last Wednesday, during a no-knock raid by Minneapolis Police Department officers.
Locke, who was not the target of the investigation, was seen in body cam footage in his bed under a blanket, holding a gun, which was not pointed at the officers.
