Description

Black Live Matter demonstrators scuffled with the police at Washington DC's Black Lives Matter Plaza on Friday, as they were condemning pro-Trump rallies that are expected to take place on Saturday in the US capital.

Tensions escalated as protesters were seen arguing with the police.

"Trump supporters and Proud Boys are coming around here, there is going to be a lot of tension, we know that. It's gong to get very ugly. I don't really care for that, I'd rather just, let them come through, do their thing. Trump lost, just let them get over it you know. Let's think about our business and do what we need to do," commented Mike, a demonstrator.

According to organisers, some 15,000 protesters supporting US President Donald Trump are expected to arrive in Washington DC on Saturday, days before Electoral College votes are cast.

Rallygoers protest the alleged unsubstantiated claim of voter fraud in the presidential election.
