Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi arrived on Saturday in French town of Biarritz following an invitation to attend the G7 summit as a guest.

The Egyptian presidential plane can be seen landing in the early hours, with Sisi getting out of the plane and leaving the airport in an official car.

The G7 summit is set to start on Saturday and will run from August 24 to August 26. The summit's agenda is reported to include; tackling global inequality, the US-China trade dispute, the Hong Kong protests and the climate crisis.
