"We need to call Israel accountable and in the International Criminal Court. Netanyahu is a criminal and has committed war crimes," said American Muslims for Palestine chairman Hatem Bazian.
"They asked us to save democracy from Donald Trump, now we're asking everybody to save Palestine from Joe Biden and the democratic party," said the President of New generation for Palestine Amer Zar, while addressing the crowd.
Activists decried the occupation and what they deemed as ongoing ethnic cleansing despite the ceasefire.
An Egyptian-mediate ceasefire was reached between Israel and Palestinian militants last week, bringing to an end the worst outbreak of violence since 2014, that left 12 Israelis and 248 Palestinians dead after 11 days of hostilities.
