Description

Residents of Minsk’s Zavodskoy district held an unsanctioned local protest against President Alexander Lukashenko on Sunday.

The demonstrators can be seen marching through residential buildings carrying Belarus flags and chanting “Long live Belarus”.

On the weekend, similar protests and marches against Lukashenko were held also in other Minsk districts and cities of Belarus.

Belarus has been swept by anti-government protests following the disputed presidential election that saw long-time leader Lukashenko re-elected for a sixth term in August.
