Freedom Convoy protesters were blocked from entering Paris on Saturday as French President Emmanuel Macron deployed several heavily armored vehicles in the capital.
The protesters can be seen attempting to enter the city in trucks and cars as police officers stop them in their tracks. Several large army vans were also seen deployed in the city centre.
The 'Freedom Convoy' truckers are protesting against vaccination mandates and started their journey in cities across France including Nice and Strasbourg.
Many of them are anti-vaccination protesters, but the movement also includes those who are protesting against rising energy prices amongst other demands.
The demonstration was inspired by the Freedom Convoy movement in Canada, protesting vaccine mandates at the border with the United States.
