Morocco's King Mohammed was seen greeting Spain's Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez at the Royal Palace in Rabat on Wednesday.
Footage shows Sanchez arriving to an honour guard, before walking along the red carpet outside the palace. He is shown being offered dates and milk, before greeting the King inside the main entrance.
Sanchez and King Mohammed are then seen shaking hands and sitting down for discussions with their delegations, which included Spanish Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares, as well as the King's adviser Fouad Ali El Himma and Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita.
According to the Spanish side, they discussed joint efforts to manage migration, Spain's backing for the Morocco's autonomy plan for Western Sahara, and the necessity of a ceasefire in Gaza.
Spain is Morocco's largest foreign investor, while Moroccans make up the largest foreign community in the European country. The two nations, along with Portugal, will also host the 2030 FIFA World Cup.
