The World Police Summit opened in Dubai for its third edition on Tuesday, bringing law enforcement agencies, manufacturers and security firms from over 65 countries together to exchange information and discuss the latest developments in the industry.
Footage shows law enforcement officials and other attendees visiting exhibitions featuring innovative technology such as AI-powered patrol cars and cutting-edge bomb disposal robots.
The event was attended by Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai.
"I attended today the World Police Summit 2024 opening, in which more than 70 security leaders and 130 exhibitors participated. Dubai Police have proven to be global innovators in police services, and we are proud of our strategic partnerships that ensure the global safety and security of communities," The Sheikh wrote in a post on X, formerly Twitter.
This year's police summit was held under the slogan, 'Uniting Global Forces for a Safer Tomorrow' and will be held at Dubai's World Trade Center until Thursday, March 7.
