Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang touted economic globalisation and free trade at the opening ceremony of the World Economic Forum’s Annual Meeting of the New Champions, in Dalian, Tuesday.

The Chinese Prime Minister called for reform and the "complete the rule of international trade and economy to make sure the fair right, chances, and rules in the trade for all the countries." He also stated that both developed and developing countries have been benefiting and would benefit from globalisation.

"We should accept and guide globalisation. We should insist authority and effectiveness of the multilateral system to push liberalisation and facilitation of trade and investment," said Premier Li.

Under the motto “Achieving Inclusive Growth in the Fourth Industrial Revolution”, this year’s edition of the Summer Davos brings together over 1,500 entrepreneurs, scholars, economic leaders, and politicians to discuss inclusive growth and the future of the global economy.
